easy & cheap diy pillow

I love an easy and cheap DIY for outdoors! This would be so easy to change up to whatever word you wanted or for the holidays.

Pillows are great to dress up patio furniture, but honestly I don’t want to spend a fortune on something that will be ruined by the weather. The pillow below was my inspiration from Hobby Lobby. Unfortunately, I didn’t want the red color or to spend $25. So I did the next best thing…..thought I can totally make that. Anyone else do that?

While I was in Hobby Lobby, I did grab a couple of rolls of the pom pom trim over in the ribbon section. It was on sale…..and I thought just in case I decide to try to make my own. Its $2.99 regular price. One roll was enough to write home on this pillow with some left over.

A week later, I was browsing the aisles at Big Lots and found a blue, solid pillow. It was on sale for $7 and so I grabbed it.

All you need to do this project is the pom pom trim, your pillow, and hot glue.

I started by lining up the “h” and then kept continuing a little at a time glueing it down with hot glue. It took maybe 5 minutes to complete the project.
