diy light up pumpkin
Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins!!
They are so fun to do and there are so many different things you can do to make them unique. This one is no exception! You could paint it in any color to match your decor. This DIY light-up wood pumpkin is made with a dollar tree battery pack. You will only need a wood cut out and a few supplies to make this light up pumpkin.
Supplies:
- pumpkin wood cutout
- dollar tree battery pack lights & batteries
- various ribbons
- paint
- hot glue
- drill & drill bit large enough for lights
- Wire or twine to hang
Here are the easy & quick steps!!
1st step: The first step is to get your pumpkin cut out. This was one my husband cut for me from a template he drew.
2nd step: Grab your drill and drill bit large enough for the lights to shine through
3rd step: Paint your pumpkin.
4th step: Flip the pumpkin over and hot glue the lights to around the holes so the light shines through.
5th step: Add your wire to the top for the pumpkin to hang.
6th step: Decorate to fit your style. I grabbed some ribbon pieces and added a small pumpkin
It looks so cute lit up with the battery lights behind it! You can grab those at Dollar Tree!!
